For a number of assessments we frequently receive requests for, the below packages provide an approximate estimate of hours required.
Functional Assessment
10 hours OT
Functional Assessments are completed by an Occupational Therapist to provide an overview of how you go about your day-to-day living. It will provide information about areas of strength and areas where supports may be required.
Behaviour Support Plan
30 hours Psychologist & OT
All our practitioners are trained in behaviour assessments and planning. Observations and data gathering occur which contribute to a Functional Behaviour Assessment. Generally a multidisciplinary team is involved to provide holistic preventative strategies to minimise the behaviour of concern - this may include communication aids and use of sensory tools to calm the participant.
SDA Assessment
30 hours OT
Specialist Disability Accommodation Assessments are completed by an Occupational Therapist. Our OTs have had significant experience in conducting functional housing assessments and recommendations that speak to the type of housing required and addresses the legislation regarding SDA housing.
